Get your hair wet, dry your hair with a blowdryer and scrunch your ends up between your fingers. When your hair is about 85 percent dry, seperate your hair in 2 sections down the middle of your head [kind of like pig tails you'd see on a little girl..] and coil one section around your finger and put a hair pin in it keeping it in a coiled shape on your ear [kind of like that one princess from star wars... if you get where I'm at so far..] do that to the otherside too. leave that there for as long as you need to - take it down right as you're leaving to go out. Tossle your hair around with your hands just to seperate the strands and make it look natural, spritz some thickening-holding-spray on your hair to help keep it in place. Also, this would give you a volume boost and make your locks stand out more.

you can use sea salt spray (sea salt mixed with water, other salts also work) or a surf spray and mist head then put in braids until hair dries. then take them out and scrunch hair.

Use a wide barrel curling iron and curl hair or wrap it around iron.
