If your hair is course DO NOT have a stylist use thinning shears or a razor!! The ends of your hair will look dry and dead and HORRIBLE and the fly-aways will be VERY, very bad. I have extremely thick and curly hair and the best way I have found to thin it out is to have lots of layers cut into it. If the texture of your hair is smooth and wavy, then a razor cut is probably the way to go. But if your hair is course then I promise you, thinning shears and razors will only make matters worse.

get it thinned out some qhite gurl at my school does it, her hair looks nice or maybe u need a really good straightner, mine was 125 and it works good its called a sedu!!! my other starightners made my hair look straight but thick, this makes it look thinner, and i dont get relaxers so i go from an afro to a nice straight look!!!!!

Go to your beautician and he/she can "thin" it out, using thinning shears...

They look like a strange pair of scissors, that cut chuncks out of your hair and thins it down.

No, you wont look like some freak, as it does it near the roots, (if your beatician knows what they are doing), and then they can thin it going down along your hair too, so that it layers it better...

Do you really want thin hair? Or do you mean straight, but it falls and is bouncy?

If you want thin hair, get a relaxer.

But if you want thick, shiny straight hair, use a Maxi Glider from the home shopping network. Results last for as long as you don't wash your hair. Also use the straightening spray.

I have been there soooo many times!!! I'm going to have to say no because my hair is very thick and if you want it thin you are going to have to cut it off. But if you are like me and you like your hair then let it stay the same!

I know there are shampoo's that help thin hair and there are haircuts that can help.
