How do i make my wavy hair straight in humid places??

i have wavy hair and i usually use a hair drier to straighten it out???



but when i go to humid places my hair drier doesnt seem to work???



was wondering how i cud straighten my hair in humid places???

I use a flat iron...you can buy them cheap from Walmart or Target. :) Get one that heats in 60 seconds so you can use it whenever you want (just make sure you don't straighten your hair when its wet...that can cause damage).

Re-bonding is the only way to keep it straight.

There are specialist products for EXACTLY this sort of thing, you'll probably need one or two of those, along with ceramic straightners... you may want to check this out with a local good quality hairdressing unit.



Look for 'smoothing' products and especially those designed for 'humid environments'. It sounds like you might have quite thick hair as well, so maybe you could also explore getting some of the heavier sections of your hair cut out (be careful with this, some hairdressers use 'thinning' scissors, which just seem to plump out the hair even more - get them to take out larger sections which will take more weight out of your hair). Less weight, plus some product, short burst of heated ceramic straightners = happy girl with straight shiny hair.
