I need help with my poofy, frizzy, wavy hair when I get out of the shower.?

I absolutely dread when I take my shower every day because when I come out of the shower my hair get very frizzy, poofy, and wavy. If I don't get my hair wet for about 3 days (which rarely happens) the poofy-ness, curly-ness and frizzy-ness goes away and my hair looks smooth and shiny. Untherwise I have to straighten my hair, which takes a while to do. Are there any shampoos and conditions or other hair products on the market today that can help me with this problem? I have tried Sunksilk's "straighten Up" but it makes my hair a lot worse!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

I would ask a stylist to see if they recommend any product.

Well I have curly/wavy hair and the way I tame it is by using Sleek Look Styling Creme Lite. I use Lite because my hair is fine. But if you have thick hair then use the Extreme one. After using this I blow dry my hair and then use a dime size of Paul Mitchell's Skinny Serum and after all of that my hair is smooth, straight, and it smells delicious :P

Use moisturizing shampoo and conditoner like Matrix, Nexxus, Infusion-23, and Biolage. You can deep condition your hair once a week frizz usually comes from damage to hair. Also when you get out of the shower use leave in conditoner it helps to tame frizz some good ones are Aveda Brilliant Damage Control and Bumble and bumble leave in conditioner with frizz control.

What you can do sometimes is scrunch it with hair spray and then gel and use a diffuser. Or you can straighten your hair with a good ceramic flat iron like Sedu Tourmaline, you can get it at www.folica.com or at salons and use serum like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum it makes my hair really smooth or the Redken Glass Smoothing Serum which makes your hair shiny with no frizz. Cheaper products would probably be John Friedas frizz-ease products. You can also apply a styling lotion like Aveda Brilliant Pomades which is a great product for air drying they come with a humectant for letting your hair dry curly, or anti-humectant if you want your hair to hang straight.

Try John Frieda's serums! There's a few to choose from. You put it on when you get out of the shower when your hair is still wet.
