I am so gald you asked this question. I have thick, long, wavy hair. I have finally found a way to make it shiny, beautiful, and stick straight.

1) Shampoo with Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek Shampoo

2) Use a palmful of Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek Conditioner

3) Let conditioner sit in hair for 3 min.

4) Brush out hair and let it air dry

5) Brush hair back and gather 2/3 of it and put it in a bun on top of your head.

6) Use a falt iron/straightener to straighten this section of hair

7) Repeat step 6 with another layer of hair

8) Once all hair is straightened, squirt Paul Mitchell SUPER Skinny Serum into palm

9) Rub hands together and put serum throughout hair using finger tips... avoid the roots so they do not get oily.

Ok,

1. Wash and condition with a straightening shampoo and conditioner.

2. Put a "relaxing" cream in your hair

3. Either Blow dry your hair, using a big round brush and pull the hair down. or let it dry naturally.

4. In small sections, starting with the underside of the hair, use hot straightening tongs.

This should do it.

Here's my routine.

Shampoo %26amp; Condition

Towel dry as much as possible.

Spray John Freida straightening spray into damp hair.

Split hair into five sections %26amp; clip them up:

Front right

Front left

Thin top layer in the back - this one has to look GOOD

Middle layer in the back

Bottom layer

Starting with the bottom layer in the back, use a blowdryer and a FLAT brush (not round, I found mine at Target, it looks like a straightening iron, but it's a hogshair bristle brush) to pull thin sections of your hair taut %26amp; flat while you blow dry it. This makes my hair bouncy, but still straight. With the front sections, make sure you blow dry them the way you want them to lay. Separate them at your part.

If you want your hair super-flat then use the CHI straightening iron. I like the bouncy effect though, it's super trendy right now.
