ok so i have wavy hair. but not only is it wavy, it's also VERY frizzy! i usually end up straightening it cuz it naturally looks so bad! but i really want to wear it wavy! but how can i without it being frizzy? please help!

I have very curly hair that also gets very frizzy. I bet your hair looks great when wet and gets frizzy when dry. I use Luster's Pink Oil. It's a hair lotion that you can get at your local drug store or beauty supply store. Sally's Beauty Supply also carries it. I apply it to my hair when it's wet so that when it dries, I don't get the frizz. Plus it creates a "wet look" even though my hair is dry. If you can't find Luster's, then try going to a hair salon to see what they use to control the frizz.

OK heres what i do

lol

i take my usual shower and wash my hair and put condicitoner blah etc

THEN while its still wet i put it in a bunch of little braids. kinda tight but dont make it hurt lol. just not loose really...ok then i go to bed and the next morning i take then out and my hairs wavy. i like it alot i actially have my hair in braids now! lol. hope that helps. i get frizz sometimes too especially when its humid. i guess some spray im not sure

anywho jus wanted you to know bout the braiding thing

and make sure you make a bunch of little ones

lol not one big one that would turn out different

try some frizz-ease.

you have to put it on sopping wet hair, and either let it dry naturally or blow dry with a diffuser. works pretty well.

Wash your hair, using shampoo, conditioner, and all this stuff.. Now after you get out of the shower, and your hair is still wet, what you do is get styling gel and go over your waves using your fingers to define it. It really helps! My hair is not frizzy, though, I guess I am just lucky. But, my mom has wavy-ish curly-ish hair but hers is frizzy..so just my advice there.. Best of Luck dear.

Mine is just the same and I got a below the ears layered cut. I use an excellent serum and a flat iron to straighten it and add some flair to the ends where its layered. It's the best it has looked for a long time!
