Really thick and wavy hair!?

I have really thick hair which is not curly or wavy, it's like in the middle of both. I don't want to straighten it too often but I would love thin layered hair. How can I accomplish this? I also suffer from LOADS of frizz. Any good tips?

Really thick and wavy hair!?

I had the same problem. Buy and anti-frizz shampoo, such as herbal essence, and use that. Then just go the the hair stylists and ask for thinning a layers. Also, if you don't want to straighten your hair very often, just straighten the parts that look really bad.

Really thick and wavy hair!?

You could ask your haircutter to thin your hair, and cut longer layers. I have thick, wavy, and coarse hair--short layers are the death.

Well...You cant really get thin layered hair if you ahev really frizzy hair unless you get it chemically Straighten first and then layer but thats costs like loads.

Really thick and wavy hair!?

I have exactly the same hair type. My hair isn't curly, wavy or straight, So I call it Straivy! I have just learnt to love my hair and now I always get loads of compliments! Just a tip, if you get your hair layered loads then your hair is more likely to become more wavy because you are making the hair lighter.

Frizz is a problem that I think everyone par supermodels suffer from. Just make sure that you hair is DEFINATELY dry before you go out as if it is just slightly damp that can make your hair VERY frizzy.

Really thick and wavy hair!?

I know EXACTLY what you mean.

I hate my hair!

And there's NO WAY that I can leave the house without straightening it. If it was curly and neat then fine, but it's just this big....wavy/curly/frizzy mess!

It'll be fine when I straighten it before school but as soon as I leave the house it just goes wavy and kinky again.

No tips soz I'm just lookin for what other people say lol

I also have this hair, I never found anti-frizz products to work. I thought they were a bit of a waste of money.

Anyway, what I do is after i've washed my hair, comb it through then leave it to dry naturally, blow drying adds more volume. Straightning it is really the best option if you want thinner looking hair, it works for me. You don't have to straighten it everyday, because you shouldn't really being washing your hair everyday.
