OMG i have the exact same hair ad it s a total pain in the butt. I have been dealing wiht it for years and I finaly have some great hair solutions.

1. You can get it permanently straightened. The thing is it is very pricy.

2. If you want to put your hair in a ponytail or bun take a shower( try pantene super starght conditioner.. it makes your curls less frizzier) toel dry your air an put in sunslk anti frizz 24 hour creme.

3. If you want a quick do in 5 minutes or less take a shower and put in pul mitchell extra-body mouse.. know extra body? You alredy have a lot of body you need less! Well this cream maintains your waves and if aything it will reduce poofyness then add it.

4. Want to go to a party? Or make your hair look a lot better??? Take a shower towel dry your hair. Then put in sunslik anti-frizz creme. Then do a mixture of redken crystal curls and redken ringlet creme. Masage it through your hair and makes sure to get it at the ends. Then put in hair spray.

Hope this helps!!!!

I use a combination of smoothing shampoo and conditioner, Sunsilk Anti-Poof 24/7 Creme, and gel, and I never, never blow dry. I hope this helps.

Get a really good straightening iron. Or they make products that help tame frizzy hair (like John Frieda Frizz-Ease hair serum).
