How would you tame naturally wavy hair in hot/humid weather?

My hair is slightly wavy - not curly. Just wavy enough to be ugly if I don't blow-dry it straight! I'm going to be travelling to Singapore for over a week where it's 90 degrees and INCREDIBLY humid every day. Any advice on what to do with my hair other than just put it in a ponytail every day or wear a hat? Good products to recommend?

Frizz ease is great. It's a little thicker than gel and it works wonders on taming the "puffy" look.

There is a product by John Freida called "Wind Down". Its in a purple pump type bottle. This stuff is great! I have wavy hair as well and this stuff keeps it tame without the frizz and flyaways of humidity. Just comb in while hair is wet and style as usual. I use this year round.
