This is how I've had mine done in the past and my hair looked bombass! Your hair needs to be braided around your head, not up and down, but actually spiral rows around. Whoever does your hair should then sew in the wavy tracks into the braids. This will ensure your tracks lay on your head naturally. If you pick up any of the black hair magazines, they should be able to show you this technique. Its really easy and I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair.
