Best way to make your hair wavy?

ok i have wavy hair but it is only wavy a LITTLE in the back. I want my hair to look kinda crunched lookin. My hair is also kinda thick. I also kinda want to be able to do something overnight but if i can't it is ok. thanks so much!!!

this can be for waves, though it involves curlers, i have more ideas below so bear with me:

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, kinda wavy, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy. i think this is the easiest thing ever. all you do is gather some hair in your hand and kinda crunch/scrunch it to your head....not too sure how i can describe it but trust me it is cute and if you just play with it a little, it works....

k my hairs like tha too when u get out of the shower towel dry it and then jus shake your hair from side to side an then jus scrunch it up into a messy ball an then sleep in the mornin you should have super wavey hair an it looks good too obviously u have to put sum hair spray or gel..goodluck

oh and you can also just use a defuser which works amazing

Well wash hair at night. Then after it is a little damp, put it in a ponytail. THen in the morning, let it out. Then you should scrunch with some gel. Or wash your hair in the morning. Be sure to blow dry it but keep it damp. THen scrunch in some gell.

my hair is SUPER flat so what i do is when my hair's still wet I braid small sections of my hair, tie it, then if you want that almost crimped look twist the braids into small buns it may not be really comfy to sleep in but use a towel so the braids don't get undone. In the morning blow dry ur hair(while still up) then take the braids out. If it looks TOO wavy u can brush it or wet it down. Otherwise just spray W\ some holding spray and ur G2G!!!
