Blow dry hair everyday?

I am a guy, 19 years old with wavy hair. For a guy, I'd say it's long. It doesn't reach the shoulders, but you get the idea. My question is: is it bad for me to blow-dry my hair everyday? I do this after almost every shower because I HATE having wet hair. I have never liked it. I have read question on this already, but girls asked them and the tips they give them don't really help me that much. Any tips for a guy?

Also, I've started to notice that my hair is starting to get REALLY dry. I condition it when I take showers. I put on the conditioner of Garnier for wavy hair, and leave it for like 15 sec (maybe I should leave it more time?) Thanks a lot. Serious answers only!

Blow dry hair everyday?

well, drying your hair everyday can seriously damage it.

i would get a blow dryer that's ceramic and is ionic (you can buy one at cvs or target pretty cheap)

also, try not to use it too often, and whenever you can just let your hair air dry, or towel dry most of it, or even just shake it dry (seriously). or, you could blow dry it until it gets to be just damp, but not sopping wet. you could try all of these and see which is best for you =]

Blowing out your hair everyday is a BIG no no.

Try using a hair closteol product called Queen Heleen.

It adds mositure to intense dry hair.

Good luck!

Why don't you try heat protectant shampoos, conditioners and styling products? Also, although you hate having wet hair, you can do things to shorten the time like try to dry it with a towel and let it sit just a little longer air drying. Or, you can try partially drying with a fan or cool dryer setting.

Blow dry hair everyday?

not daily for a man its ok but u might loss some of ur hair like that

Blow dry hair everyday?

dont listen to anyone who says its a big no no to blow dry your hair everyday. i am also 19 and I have long, thick brown hair and i have blow dried mine everyday other day since i was 12. thats 7 years. i have no split ends and my hair is healthier than the hair of anyone i know.

the trick is to let it dry at least 50% before you take a dryer to it.(for me it takes about 30 minutes) not only will it take less time to dry, but it wont damage because you wont have hot air on your hair as long. also, using a deep conditioner on your hair like aussie 3 minute miracle's deeeeeeeepp formula is good to. it really does help.

if you hate having wet hair like me, than blow drying it is not a big deal. i hope this helps and that you find the answer you are looking for. good luck.
