How can I get permanently wavy hair?

I have really really really frizzy uncontrollable crazy hair naturally, i usually straighten it twice a week but my hair is starting to get seriously damaged and i have too many split ends (i just had to cut 3 inches off last week) i was thinking about getting thermal reconditioning (permanent straightening) done on my hair, my friend had it done and she looks absolutely gorgeous..i dont know if i would suit straight hair so i was wondering if anyone knew a similar technique to get permanently wavy hair? a perm maybe?

Take it to the beach.

try a like 7-day perm to see how your hair takes it then go from there

Same problem here. After washing and towel drying, I use a silicon based serum. I don't use a drier on my hair so I just leave it to dry naturally and it's nice and soft with no frizzies (thank goodness). Also, I straighten my hair a ceramic straightner about twice during the week and then I also put serum on after. I try to leave my hair hair over weekends so its doesn't get too damaged.
