u can curl in ur straightener just a little bit while your going down your hair..
dont do it too much tho or youll get a kink

You could basically plait it really losely then run the straighteners over it then straighten the top bit again.

I straighten mine first then I put the top part in a ponytail and curl the ends with a really big curling iron then I do the top part. Using a bigger curling iron helps it so the curls aren't so tight.
