I also have long wavy hair. I just brought a new flat iron to make my hair straight and I can also use it to dry my hair while straightening it at the same time. I like the look of my hair when it's pin straight and honestly men seem to look at me more when my hair is straight rather then wavy go figure

Straighten it with a hair stragithener. They can be found at drugsttores for about $25 and they'll make you r hair straigth which is perfect for a different style

use hair spray and mousse and gell and get the wet curly look that will stay and look awesome =]
