I use curling cream and gels and defuse my hair,and then use a wave to make it have a wavy look rather than curls,I do the curling first though so the wave will hold,You can buy a waver from pretty much anywhere that sells straighteners or curling irons,the Bed Head one is 50 but I got a Vidal Sassoon one for 20 and it works good as long as you have product in to hold the wave.

You can use a strong styling gel. There is a brand called Bed Head that makes strong gels. If you want it to last longer you can get a chemical relaxer. There are different brands for Black Hair and Caucasian hair. I am a hairdresser and have done this many of times. Please be sure you go to someone who know what their doing. I have done many redos on someone elses mistakes. Check out your stylest before you go to them.
