How Do I Scrunch My Hair Nicely PLEASE HELP!?

Im Indian so I have really thick and wavy hair. not the wavy that comes out in nicely in like waves (lol) but more like a blob. when i wash my hair everyday and dry it, curls and looks nice for a while but then it gets all frizzy and turns into a blob after drying some more. ive tried to scrunch my hair so that i could get better waved, and go for that wet curly hair look, but i can only do it in a half pony since my hair is so thick and it looks weird. can anyone help me? what product should i use? how should i use it? some people tell me they have to use a lot of different products to get the effect..

I am not Indian but I do have similar hair to yours. Look for a product called "Fructis" It's in a lime green bottle. I buy the moose in the strongest hold setting they have. What I do is, after I'm out of the shower, I usually towel dry my hair. Then I comb it out thoroughly to get all the tangles out. Once it has dried on its own (keeping in mind to not put it in a pony tail)...like 15 mins or so (it's really damp at this point) I then apply the moose and literally squeeze it in my hair. I do this while flipping my head by my knees so the hair is exposed on its back side. I squeeze/scrunch it in all over and then let it dry down. Once it's completely dry, I have the option of putting it in a pony tail and the curls stay in all night:)

Good luck honey.

1) DON'T COMB YOUR HAIR AFTER YOU WASH IT!

2) Towel dry your hair

3) Apply curl-enhancing gel and mousse-- lots of mousse.

4) Scrunch your hair GENTLY. I usually tip my head upside down for this so I can do the underside too.

5) Use a blowdryer with a diffuser on a low heat and low speed. Apply the hairdryer to the area as you scrunch gently.

6) Use some hairspray when you are done and DON'T play with your hair-- this will make it frizzy again.

well if your hair is very thick and long and you want to wear curly look, you may want to have some layers in it to lighten it up and bit . so it won't be so heavy.... then try some spray gel, it will dry a little crunchy, but it will hold your hair you need something stronger than mousse for your thick hair. also curly sexy hair is good, but you really need a gel (a liquid with a strong hold) .

I use a lot of frizz serum (super skinny) and a sculpting lotion (super sculpt) flip your head upside down and scrunch the serum into your hair first then the lotion then more serum flip back up and shake it out lately then apply some hair spray this is all that works for me.

Try washing and towel drying your hair, brush out tangles spray with sebastian shaper spray or spray gel twist up in a bun or braid it until dry or semi dry and then when you let it down you should have tousled looking waves and then spray once more with a finishing spray.

Hi!

I am not Indian, but I have the thickest hair than anyone I know that is half-back length. To go for the wet curly look, I used the Aussie Sprunch Spray (they have it in original and unscented) once I showered. I wrapped my hair in a towel once exiting the shower, and then after I got dressed, I brushed my hair and sprayed it like crazy and then DIDN'T TOUCH it AT ALL until completely dried. It was a little hard once it was completely dry, but the hardness goes away if you play with it. It didn't get frizzy at all (believe me, this was a BIG issue with my hair too!).

Hope this works!!
