I want an edgy razor-cut hairstyle but i have thick hair...possible?

i have thick hair though, not thick thick hair, but hair like this

...but thicker...and wavier. my hair gets wavy at the bottom no matter how much i straighten. you could straighten my hair and in about two hours the ends would be wavy again. thats another problem for me cause i cant get the edgy kinda hair if it isnt straight on the bottom..

are there any edgy hairstyles that are for thicker wavier hair?

(i dont want to get a straight perm or anything like that though)

razor haircuts are very bad for your hair. it will cause split ends and you will end up having to trim it a lot. the same look can be achieved with shears. i think that style would actually look cool with wavy hair, just a lil different. have you thought of dying streaks of color like blue on the bottom only? a friend of mine did that and it looks really cool.

hmm, i haven't really seen an edgy hairstyle with wavy hair. when you get your hair cut just give them that picture and tell them you want a lot of layers (it will thin out your hair) also tell them you want a choppy/razored cut. tell them you want it straightened too. i think it will look really awesome.
